Vin Diesel plays a former marine-turned biotech enhanced superhero in the trailer for Bloodshot. Although it’s not as well known as Marvel or DC outside of the comic book fan community, Valiant Comics has made a name for itself over the years with IPs like Harbinger and Ninjak. The publisher is now in the process of turning its titles into TV shows, web series, and movies, including next year’s Bloodshot.
Bloodshot Movie Official Trailer already Released on Oct 21, 2019. Clearly, movie fans need some alternatives to the other stuff that dominates movie theaters in the early months of the year, and 2020 will continue this trend. Bloodshot was initially scheduled to be released over the weekend of February 21, 2020. Sony confirmed the date with the film’s first trailer, which hit the internet in October 2019. In December, however, the studio announced that Bloodshot had been pushed back just a few weeks, to March 13th.
Sony Pictures partnered with the publisher with clear designs for Bloodshot to launch a Valiant Cinematic Universe alongside film projects such as Harbinger and Archer & Armstrong as well as a Quantum & Woody TV series. However, the studio’s dream of harvesting its own shared continuity became mired in doubt back in September after Paramount acquired the rights to Harbinger, a crucial title filled with key characters and concepts in the Valiant lineup, analogous to Marvel’s X-Men IP.
